Can I use any email acounnt in the register process?

You need to use a gmail account from your smartphone.

Trick: you can create a new gmail account in order to use it in the eKameno registration process. Add this new account in all the devices that you want to register into the system. Then do the registration process in all the devices using this new account and all the devices will be linked in the same system.

Can I install Remote and Node in the same device?

You should install the Remote App and the Node App in different devices.

Problem loading Node

If the Node doesn’t load try the following actions in your Remote device:

  • Reload the Node device using the icon located in the top bar
  • Try to reset the Node device through the option menu in the top bar

If it still doesn’t work try these actions in your Node device.

  • Check that Node App is working in the Node device and it has Internet connection
  • Be sure that your WiFi policy is “Always connected”

Trick: If you want setup the WiFi policy go to Settings – WiFi – Advanced – Keep WiFi on during sleep – and click Always.

Installation process

  1. Install the Remote App
    • 1.1 In your regular samrphone install eKameno Remote
    • 1.2 Open eKameno Remote App
    • 1.3 You will see the register screen
      • Account: Select the email account that you want to use in the system.
        Note that this email account will be the same that you should use when you do the register process in the eKameno Node. The system will show automatically the email accounts linked to the smartphone device. If you don’t have any email account linked to your smartphone first of all you should go to the account settings and create it.
      • Password: Introduce the password for the system.
        Note that this password will be the same that you will use when you do the registration process in the node. If you don’t remember the password you can use the Password Renew Option that you will find in this registration screen.
      • Name: Introduce the name for the Remote Device.
        Note that this name will be the name for your remote device.
    • 1.5 Select the “Register” button and wait during the registration process.
  2. Then Install the Node App
    • 2.1 Take the device that will stay always in home and install eKameno Node
    • 2.2 Open eKameno Node App
    • 2.3 You will see the register screen
      • Account: Select the email account that you use in the system.
        Note that this email account have to be the same that you have used in the eKameno Remote Registration process. The system will show automatically the email accounts linked to the smartphone device. If you don’t have any email account linked to your smartphone first of all you should go to the account settings and create it.
      • Password: Introduce the password.
        Note that this password have to be the same that you have used in the eKameno Remote registration process. If you don’t remember the password you can use the Password Renew Option that you will find in this registration screen.
      • Name: Introduce the name for the Node Device.
        Note that this name will be the name for your Node Device
    • 2.5 Select the “Register” button and wait during the registration process.
    • 2.6 You should left the eKameno App running in the Node Device.

Switch on the App in the eKameno Remote device and all the registered Node Devices will be loaded in the application.

Why the new Node appears as a Node Blocked?

Freemium Area allows one Node. If you want to connect more of that you need the Premium Area.

Can I share eKameno?

I don’t see the eKameno Remote App in the Google Play

if you do not meet the minimum SO requirements you will not see the App in GooglePlay.

Which are the system requirements for eKameno Little?

1. You need minimum two Android devices to implement the system, the first one will be the Remote and the other one will be the Node
2. You need a gmail acount
3. Minimum IOS version Android 2.2

How to add a new plugin?

Download the plugin from GooglePlay (PLUGIN XXX), install the APK in the Node device that you want to add this skill. Then, you will see the new skill icon in the main menu.

Why I can not add more skills in eKameno?

Freemium area only allows to install one additional skill. If you want more skills you need the Premium Area.

Why the AI doesn’t works?

1. Be sure that the voice skill is activated.
2. Try to speak close to the Node device.
3. It it doesn’t works try some bluetooth device associated to your Node Device.

Trick: Try the voice commander skill.
